Low battery or phone setup not completed
The station won't start the backup: the phone's battery is low or the initial setup isn't completed. The partner fixes it themselves and taps “Start over”.
Charge the phone
When this applies. The station says the phone's battery is low.

Plug the phone into power. A direct cable to the Mac usually charges it.

Wait a few minutes and tap “Start over”.
Complete the phone setup
When this applies. The station says the phone setup isn't completed.

On the phone, go through the setup assistant until you reach the home screen.
